Vijay Deverakonda explained that the photo circulating of him during a police press conference is from the “Covid times.”
Contrary to what has been reported, Vijay Deverakonda has clarified that he has not lodged a police case against anybody who engage in trolling or post disparaging remarks about him or his most recent movie, Family Star. When questioned by a movie reporter, the actor denied that any of these statements were true.

On Wednesday, movie reporter Haricharan Pudipeddi posted a screenshot of his WhatsApp conversation with the actor on his X profile. He posts a copy of a tweet he shared, stating that Vijay has reported anyone who submit unfavourable Family Star reviews to the police. An image of Vijay and the cops during what appears to be a press conference is attached to the tweet.
“Nope,” was Vijay’s response when asked if there was any truth to the statement. He went on to explain that it’s an antique photo from “Covid times.”
A photo of a man posing with police and displaying a paper was circulating earlier. That photo on X stated in the caption that he is a part of Vijay’s team and that he has reported to the police on Vijay’s behalf against people who are making fun of the actor or his most recent movie.
Concerning Family Star
Family Star, which is helmed by Parasuram Petla, is Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur’s first joint venture. Along with Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, and Ravi Babu in supporting roles, Rashmika Mandanna makes a cameo appearance in the movie.
This multilingual (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu) release, which was produced by Dil Raju, debuted in theatres on April 5. In its first five days at the domestic box office, it brought in ₹16 crore.
