Antonio Esfandiari, one of the most well-known poker players, is ranked tenth on this list of the wealthiest poker players.
Throughout his career, the former magician has won three World Series of Poker bracelets, as well as three WPT titles, the first of which came in 2004 at the L.A. Poker Classic.
Esfandiari’s biggest win occurred in 2012, when he won the WSOP’s “Big One for One Drop” tournament. This resulted in him winning a staggering $18,346,673 – the greatest ever live poker prize at the time.
He had more tournament winnings than anyone else at one point, until Daniel Negreanu took his crown.

Tony G has won multiple six-figure prizes in his poker career. However, his commercial endeavours provide the majority of his riches.
He is the CEO of Cypherpunk Holdings, a publicly traded investment business on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

Kenney is likely most known for earning the largest poker tournament prize ever granted. At the 2019 Triton Million charity event in London, he earned more than $20.5 million.
He really finished second, but when he was the chip leader, he struck a deal with eventual winner Aaron Zang, allowing him to receive the greater reward.

6. Daniel Negreanu – $70 Million
Daniel Negreanu is the most well-known poker player in history. His charisma has made him a fan favourite, and his skill has made him one of the wealthiest poker players in the world.
“Kid Poker” holds six World Series of Poker bracelets and is the only player to be named World Series of Poker Player of the Year twice. He is also in the Poker Hall of Fame.
Negreanu has won about $42 million in tournament prize money and a sizable sum via sponsorship deals, the largest of which saw him become the face of PokerStars.

Doyle Brunson is regarded as one of the best poker players of all time.
During his career, he won ten WSOP bracelets and twice won the Main Event, in 1976 and 1977.
The retiree also frequented Bobby’s Room at the Bellagio, where he played cash games, including a limit mixed poker game with $4,000/$8,000 blinds.
Brunson has made more than $6.1 million in live tournament victories. It is unknown how much he earned while playing high stakes cash games.
He’s also made money from other means, including as his book Super System, which is widely considered to be one of the best poker strategy books ever published.

4. Chris Ferguson – $80 Million
It’s safe to assume that Chris Ferguson isn’t the most well-known poker player.
He was suspected of being a part of a major Ponzi scheme at Full Tilt Poker that took $444 million from players.
Even when he eventually apologised, many people saw it as too little, too late.
Despite his questionable behaviour, he is still a brilliant player, having won the WSOP Main Event in 2000 for a $1.5 million jackpot.
Overall, he has earned approximately $7 million in live tournament prizes throughout his career, with a big portion of this total coming from his 168 money finishes at the WSOP.

3. Sam Farha – $100 Million
Most players will remember Sam Farha as the man who lost the 2003 Main Event to Chris Moneymaker.
The Lebanese poker player has three WSOP bracelets and, while he does play tournaments, he is most recognised as a high-stakes Omaha cash game player.
Aside from his prize for placing second in the WSOP Main Event, Farha’s largest tournament win is $488,241, which he obtained when he took first place in the 2010 WSOP $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship.
His fortune stems from a variety of commercial ventures, TV and film appearances, and book authorship.

2. Phil Ivey – $125 Million
Phil Ivey is widely regarded as one of the best poker players of all time. Only Phil Hellmuth has won more WSOP bracelets than the American.
