Red Door Roulette is a mash-up of two existing Evolution Live Games.
They’ve taken the concept of Lightning Roulette and added the iconic Crazy Time Bonus Round, accessed through a Red Door, to give us a roulette game called Red Door Roulette.
Evolution is sweating the Crazy Time Bonus rounds as this will be the third hybrid game to be released, following Crazy Coin Flip and the soon-to-be-released Crazy Pachinko.

What is Red Door Roulette?
Red Door Roulette is a game of Roulette that provides access to an external bonus round based on the Crazy Time Bonus Wheel, where you can win up to 4000x.
The payouts for Straight-up wins have been adjusted down from 35:1 to 19:1 to pay for the multiplier wins when they occur.
Access to the Bonus round is won when you win a straight-up number bet that contains a key. Three to fifteen keys can be distributed randomly across the betting grid, with some having multipliers between 2x and 20x, increasing the Crazy Time Bonus wheel payouts during the bonus round.
How To Play Red Door Roulette?
Red Door Roulette starts like any other roulette game by placing bets on the betting grid.
Remember, to qualify for the bonus round, you must be betting on straight-up bets, but you can also bet on all other Inside and outside bets, which return the standard European Roulette payouts. Only the straight-up bet payouts have been reduced to 19:1.
Red Door Slot
Once Betting time has closed, the presenter activates a single reel slot machine containing numbered symbols valued between three and fifteen.
The slot stops at a random number symbol indicating how many “Keys” will be distributed across the betting grid.
Keys and Multipliers
As the keys are allocated to straight-up numbers, an RNG process creates multipliers between 2x and 20x, which are assigned to some numbers.
These multipliers are carried forward to the bonus round, increasing the initial prizes on the wheel by the value of the multiplier.
Result
If the ball lands in a pocket that doesn’t contain a key, players with bets on that number will receive a 19:1 payout.
Bets on other positions containing the winning number are paid according to the standard European Roulette paytable.
The Bonus round is initiated if the result contains a Key with or without a multiplier.
Crazy Time Wheel
After the Bonus round has been triggered, the presenter walks through the red door to the Crazy Time Wheel.
The wheel contains sixty-four segments containing multipliers and double sections.
If the key contained a multiplier, that is applied to all the sectors on the wheel, boosting the payouts.
The presenter presses a big red button, which starts the wheel spinning.
If the wheel stops on a Double, all payouts are doubled, and the wheel is spun again. If repeated doubles occur, the payouts are doubled until they reach 4000x. At this point, the Double segments are replaced with 4000x multipliers.
Red Door Bonus Round Result
The result is determined by the segment where the wheel stops.
All players receive the same multiplier payout, but that will translate differently depending on the player’s amount on the original bet spot.
The maximum payout is capped at £$€500,000.
Red Door Roulette Strategy and Tactics
The whole purpose of playing Red Door Roulette is to get into the Bonus Round. If you’re playing because you love roulette and don’t care about the Bonus rounds, I suggest you play standard European Roulette or French Roulette with La Partage for the best returns.
In this strategy section, I will explain the best bet to make if you want to get the bonus round and how to hang onto your bankroll for longer while you do it.
The bonus round is highly volatile, which means that the payouts will usually be relatively small. The big wins come when a multiplier is rolled over into the bonus round, and a Double or multiple doubles occur when the wheel is spun.
Let’s look at the data for the game to see what we can learn.
Betting on All Numbers
There are thirty-seven straight-up numbers, so if you bet on each number, you’d bet 37 units. When you win, and you will every time, the payout is nineteen units, so you lose twenty-eight units. It doesn’t take much to see that this is a losing strategy you should avoid at all costs.
Betting on Half of the numbers
If you place a bet on half the numbers, that’s a Nineteen-unit bet. If you win, you’ll win nineteen units and break even. However, in the long term, you will only win 50% of the time, so this strategy relies on getting a few bonus rounds to compensate for the losses.
Play this strategy if you have a decent-sized bankroll and don’t mind losing every other game round on average.
Betting on a third of the Numbers
This is my favoured bet because it gives me a 33% chance of getting a winning number and, therefore, sometimes entry into one of the bonus rounds.
This bet involves betting on thirteen numbers. You can distribute them over the betting grid however you like, be it favourite numbers sections of the wheel or neighbours. It doesn’t matter in the long run, as you’ll have a third of the wheel covered.
This bet takes 13 units and will pay when you win 19 units, so you make a small profit.
Now, that won’t happen every time. Statistically, it will happen every three spins, although that can fluctuate over the short term. You can check the stats on how often the Thirds come in to confirm this.
I prefer this bet because it limits my exposure and helps maintain my bankroll while giving me the chance to be in one of the bonus rounds. I won’t hit every bonus round. In fact, it will take a while, and I’ll miss some because I don’t have the numbers covered. But it’s better to be in with a chance than have no chance. This bet is about managing the losses in the hope that I get a decent win when the bonus round comes around. If I don’t, I’ll probably end up busting out!
AutoPlay
Autoplay is a great function that allows you to place the same bet for a specified number of game rounds. It’s also a great tool to help manage your bankroll and wins and losses.
You’re guaranteed never to miss a game round, and you can set a stop limit on the amount you win or lose.

The results trackers are good for seeing what’s happened in the past, but past events do not influence what will happen in the future. Roulette is a truly random game, but some players look for trends or Hot/Cold numbers to help them decide where to place their subsequent bets.
There’s no harm in this. As with any strategy, it’s good to have an approach to playing, but none of these can guarantee a win.

The payouts in Red Door Roulette follow the standard payout chart for Roulette for all bets except the Stratight-up Bet. Usually, this would pay 35:1, but in this game, it pays 19:1.
You’ll also see the max payout expressed as 3999:1 for the Bonus Round, triggered by a qualifying straight-up bet. That’s the maximum possible payout. The reality is payouts will be from 20x upwards!
