Rohit Sharma’s Team India will open their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 journey with a clash against Bangladesh in Dubai on February 20. Following that, they will face Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2 in the group stage.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, an exciting eight-team ODI tournament, will take place from February 19 to March 9, with matches held across 3 venues in Pakistan and 1 venue in Dubai for all of India’s matches.
This year marks the return of the Champions Trophy after eight years. The previous edition, held in England in 2017, saw Pakistan emerge victorious, defeating India by 180 runs in the final at The Oval. India, on the other hand, clinched the title in 2013, defeating hosts England in the final.
India is placed in Group A with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, with their group-stage matches scheduled to be held in Dubai.
India and Pakistan last faced off in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in New York, where India emerged victorious by 6 runs. Later, India went on to win the World Cup in Barbados.
