SRK confirms his next film with Sujoy Ghosh
Shah Rukh Khan said it takes him a long time to finish a film because he has to get to know the director first. He will next star in the crime drama King. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Pardo alla carriera or Career Leopard, at the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival. He discussed his career and achievements during a conversation with Locarno Film Festival’s artistic director Giona A Nazzaro. He opened up about the preparations for his next film and his collaboration with filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh.
There are certain kinds of films that I want to do, maybe it’s more age-centric and I want to try something. For 6-7 years I have been thinking about it and one day when we were sitting I spoke to Sujoy about it. He works with us in our office, he has made a few films for us. He said, Sir, I have a subject.

Shah Rukh also talked about losing weight for his film King. “The next film I am working on, I have to start working on it, lose some weight, do some stretching,” he said. He also added that the reason he takes so much time to finish the film is because he likes spending time with the director with whom he is going to spend more than a year making the film.
